Yes. Both Physician Assistants and Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners are licensed to prescribe all types of medications. However, all WellPsyche providers receive additional, specialized training in psychiatry and psychotropic medication management.
To secure your visit, funds are held on your credit care 2 business days prior to your initial consultation. However, we do not collect any funds until the day of your visit. On the day of your visit, your card on file will automatically be charged and patient responsibility as required by your health plan. This includes any applicable copayments, deductibles, or coinsurance. No show and late cancellations are also charged at that time.
If you have any questions regarding your health plan's benefits our billing team will be happy to assist you. Please complete our online enrollment so we can first verify your insurance benefits.
Clients are typically seen between 2 - 7 business days after completing our online enrollment. Our online enrollment is quick and easy to complete within 15-20 minutes.
No. WellPsyche provider locations may change from time to time based on the provider’s schedule. However, all providers are available via online TelePsyche appointments, allowing for continuity of care.
As seen on the Locations page, we have two types of office locations. Physical locations are listed in black and TelePsyche-Only locations are listed in Blue.
Physical Locations allow you to visit with your provider face-to-face in the office. You may alternate between coming into those offices or visiting with your provider online as you prefer over the course of your treatment.
Our TelePsyche-Only locations are designated for clients without internet access. Clients may visit the office to meet with a provider online as the provider is located in another location.
WellPsyche Medical Group is dedicated to helping those who want to improve their lives. Given the US is currently experiencing a nationwide shortage of quality behavioral health providers, missed appointments and late cancellations are lost opportunities for new and existing clients looking to improve their lives. To ensure we are meeting each of our clients' needs, all scheduling changes and cancellations must be made at least 2 Business Days prior to the date of the scheduled appointment.
Zoom Meetings are live video conferencing, similar to Skype/Facetime, but with HD quality and medical grade security encryption. You can use your mobile phone, iPad, tablet, or computer as long as you have a reliable internet connection and video camera.
Zoom Meetings eliminate the frustration of having to drive in traffic, missing time from work or school, and allow you the option to keep your scheduled appointment even when you are running late or are out of town.
Psychiatric medication management requires monthly visits with a WellPsyche prescribing provider. Psychotherapy is typically scheduled on a weekly basis. Your WellPsyche provider may require more frequent visits depending on your specific circumstances.
